Big Pig Jig
Central Georgia's oldest and largest barbecue cooking contest gets under way at Vienna's Big Pig Jig Village.
Fountain City Classic
The Fountain City Classic sees the ASU Golden Rams and the FVSU Wildcats football teams square off for the 24th time at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.
Byron Christmas Parade
Santa and Mrs. Claus come to Byron. The parade begins on White Road and makes its way to Main Street.

Rock 'n' Roll Marathon

St. Patrick's Day Celebration
The annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration gets underway at the corner of Abercorn and Gwinnett Streets.
Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens

Woodbine Crawfish Festival
Alongside tasting the best crawfish in your life, the festival features a parade, 5K walk and run, entertainment, and plenty of vendors to shop through.
Southern Georgia Events
Fall Festival Laura S. Walker State Park in Waycross fills as the community gathers to celebrate the magical time of year where everything is a little spookier and the trees change color. There will be face painting, bingo, and haunted hayrides. The fun begins at 4 p.m.
Mule Day Join the town of Calvary for this annual event. There will be various contests, live entertainment, food, and arts and crafts. The fun begins at 6:30 a.m. and a parade at 11 a.m.
Christmas Parade Grab a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate as you head to Downtown Cairo for their beautiful Christmas Parade. It begins at 7 p.m.
